Amanda Molina has been named the new principal of Anderson Mill Elementary School. Molina most recently served Round Rock ISD as the Assistant Principal of Canyon Creek and Robertson elementary schools since 2016.
Marc Scott has been selected as the new principal of Joe Lee Johnson Elementary STEAM Academy. Scott most recently served Round Rock ISD as the Assistant Principal of Cedar Valley Middle School since 2017 and as a summer school principal for the McNeil Learning Community.
The Round Rock Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved an amended compensation plan for the 2019-2020 school year that infuses more revenue into salaries for teachers, librarians, registered nurses, counselors and licensed professionals with an emphasis on ensuring veteran teachers receive a substantial pay boost.

Eliza Gordon has been named the new principal of Wells Branch Arts Integration Academy (AIA). Gordon most recently served Round Rock ISD as the Assistant Principal of Anderson Mill Elementary School since 2016, where she also served as the summer school principal in 2018.
Penny Oates has been named the new principal of Callison Elementary School. With more than 20 years of experience in education, Oates has most recently served Round Rock ISD as the Assistant Principal of Bluebonnet Elementary School since 2017.
The Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees approved a 3.5 percent Districtwide pay increase for the 2019-2020 school year at its May 16 Regular Board Meeting. The salary increase will cost the District $14.2 million and is included in the 2019-2020 budget, slated to be adopted in June.
Doriane Marvel has been named the new principal of Laurel Mountain Elementary School. With over 20 years of experience in education, Marvel has most recently served Round Rock ISD as the Assistant Principal of Pearson Ranch Middle School since the campus was opened in 2017.

Round Rock Independent School District Superintendent Steve Flores, Ph.D., announced today that Jeffrey D. Yarbrough will join Round Rock ISD in March as the District’s next Director of Safety and Security. Yarbrough has extensive experience in executive leadership positions in a variety of organizations including school districts, municipalities, and local and state law enforcement agencies. He currently serves as Chief Operations Officer and Chief of Police for Bastrop ISD.
Round Rock Independent School District Superintendent Steve Flores, Ph.D., announced today that Kenneth Adix, Ph.D., will join the District’s leadership team as Chief Financial Officer. Adix will begin in his new role on March 4.
Round Rock ISD has named Kyle Borel the new principal of Robertson Elementary School. Borel has served as the principal of the Harmony Science Academy in Austin since 2015. She has also served as the principal, and before then a teacher, at the Harmony School of Science.
Round Rock ISD has named Dr. Patricia Rendon-Ephlin the new principal of Hernandez Middle School. Rendon-Ephlin has worked in Round Rock ISD for 14 years and served for the past 11 years as principal of Robertson Elementary.
Investing in the District’s classroom substitutes, Round Rock ISD recently announced that the daily rate for all classroom substitutes has increased to $95 per day for actively certified substitutes and $90 for non-certified substitutes.
