Donald Bosier has been named the new principal of the Round Rock Opportunity Center.Bosier most recently served as an educational consulting and curriculum coach for BWright Educational Consultants and as a Restorative Practice Lead Trainer and Coordinator for the University of Texas at Austin.

Kat Malone named Round Rock ISD’s 2021 Secondary Teacher of the Year

Receiving the surprise of the year in front of her home, Success High School English Teacher Kat Malone was named Round Rock ISD's 2021 Secondary Teacher of the Year (TOY). She received the good news during a visit from Superintendent Steve Flores, Ph.D., Success Principal Thomasine Stewart, and District staff. 

Westwood coach named Texas Boys Tennis Coach of the Year by NFSHSA

After celebrating many successful seasons, the Westwood High School Tennis Team has something new to celebrate, their coach Travis Dalrymple was recently selected as 2018-2019 Texas Boys Tennis Coach of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Association (NFSHSA). 

Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees approve 2020-2021 budget

The Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees approved a budget of $450.7 million for the 2020-2021 year at its June 18 regular Board meeting. The budget includes funds to utilize new technology and learning resources to allow the District to adapt to changes in teaching and learning as a result of COVID-19.
