In order to provide for families, Round Rock ISD in collaboration with the Texas Department of Agriculture will prepare and distribute meals for children under the age of 19 at 10 locations around the District beginning Monday, March 23. Throughout Spring Break, we will be working with our public health agencies regarding decisions on school closures and other responses related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will inform our community by Thursday, March 19, if the return date for students or staff is later than March 23. Beginning Sunday, March 15, we are canceling all activities, events, and rentals of school facilities from outside organizations throughout the week of Spring Break. This includes, but is not limited to, practices and rehearsals for UIL activities, all special events, gatherings, performances and presentations, and meetings. The UIL is also suspending all UIL sanctioned contests effective March 16 through at least March 29.
