For the second year in a row the AP Physics class at McNeil High School took to the water with their cardboard boats and knowledge of physics hoping to stay afloat and win best in class.

Round Rock ISD's counseling services department is organizing two college fairs. Attendees can expect to learn more about higher education or post-graduation choices, admissions, financial aid, and scholarships and better understand what colleges are looking for when reviewing applications.
Dr. Byron Gerard named Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services
Dr. Byron Gerard has been named Round Rock ISD’s Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services. Dr. Gerard has served as Executive Director of College and Career Readiness in Yakima ISD in Washington since 2021.

Westwood, Canyon Vista students named 2019 State Chess Champions
Making all of the right moves, students from Westwood High School, Laurel Mountain Elementary School and Canyon Vista and Pearson Ranch middle schools earned top marks and championship titles at the 2019 Texas Scholastic Chess Championships.
