Westwood High School has been ranked in the top 100 high schools in Texas and the top 500 in the nation, according to the 2021 U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools ranking. The campus has been ranked in the top 100 schools in Texas and top 1,000 schools nationwide for more than five years.

She is bilingual Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas at El Paso, and earned her Master’s degree in administration and supervision from the University of Phoenix in Santa Teresa.
