Round Rock ISD is seeking volunteers for its Back to School Celebration scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 5 from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. at Stony Point High School, 1801 Tiger Trail, Round Rock, TX 78664. The event is held in partnership with the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education (PIE) Foundation and Texas Children’s Hospital.
The application for community members to join the 2023-2024 Leadership Round Rock ISD cohort is now open. Leadership Round Rock ISD is a District service group where members participate in active discussions and receive an in-depth learning experience about Round Rock ISD. Applications are due by August 11, 2023.

Students from Cedar Ridge and Stony Point high schools were named winners of the Fashion Collective Initiative, a competition that focused on selecting the best student fashions designs and business plans. While some may have a clear picture of their future, for many, the answer to that question is: “I have no idea.” Often, students are unaware of just how many options are available to them.
In an effort to show Round Rock ISD educators how much they are appreciated during this incredibly challenging time, Western Governors University (WGU) launched a contest for teachers to nominate colleagues by writing about how they are inspirational. Kim Bowman, special education teacher, at Old Town Elementary was the first place winner. Bowman was nominated by her principal, Jessica Schock.
