Round Rock ISD Community,
As we end another exceptional school year, I want to reflect on the incredible achievements and growth we have seen within our school community. It has been a year of determination and reaching new heights, and I am immensely proud of each and every student and staff member in our community.
To start, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our 3,636 graduating students. They have reached an important milestone in their educational journey, and, during their time in our high schools, have made us proud by earning 7,600 industry certifications and $54, 135,729 in scholarship money. After this week, they will begin the next chapter of their lives where they will grow to be the next leaders of our community, state and nation. I’m sure as an entire community we can agree that we can’t wait to see what the Class of 2023 does next.
Along with our graduates, there is much to celebrate when it comes to our District community. Some of our achievements during the 2022-2023 school year include:

None of this would have been possible without the talents of our students, along with the tireless efforts of our dedicated educators and staff members. Our staff’s commitment to nurturing the potential of every child, providing a safe and inclusive learning environment, and fostering a passion for learning is commendable. They have gone above and beyond to ensure that our students receive the best possible education, and their dedication is truly admirable.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to you, our parents and families, for your support and partnership throughout this school year. Your involvement, encouragement, and collaboration have been instrumental in the success of our students. Your commitment to their education and overall well-being is truly remarkable, and we are grateful for your trust in us.
As we approach the summer break, I encourage each of you to take the time to rest and spend quality time with your loved ones. This is a time for relaxation, exploration, and new experiences. Whether you are embarking on a family vacation, engaging in a summer reading program, or pursuing individual interests, I hope that this summer will be filled with joy, laughter, and memorable moments for all.
Thank you once again for your support and partnership. It has been an honor to serve as your Superintendent this year, and I look forward to working alongside you to continue the success and growth of our school community in 2023-2024. During the summer, our dedicated teams work diligently to prepare our campuses and optimize our operations for the upcoming Fall semester when your student will return. And in August, we will email you a link to complete your student’s annual forms.
In the meantime, please do not hesitate to send us a message on Let’s Talk if you have questions. We are always happy to hear from members of our community, even when school is not in session.
Wishing you all a safe and enjoyable summer!
Respectfully,
Dr. Hafedh Azaiez
Superintendent of Schools
