McKenzie Gomez competed in the first ever Pan Pacific International Cup competition on January 12-13, 2017, in Stockton, California, against twirlers from Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States. In McKenzie’s event, she competed in a preliminary round against 35 twirlers. She qualified for a finals round where she came in 9th place overall.
