Legislative Update: Students In Possession of Vapes Will Now Be Sent to DAEP
As part of House Bill 114, students will now be placed in the District Alternative Education Program (DAEP) if the student possesses, uses, is under the influence, sells, gives, or delivers marijuana, THC, or an e-cigarette (vape) while on campus, within 300 feet of school property, or at a school-related event.
Round Rock ISD Athletic and Performing Arts online box offices simplify ticket sales
Fans purchasing tickets through the online box offices will receive tickets by email. Alternatively, ticket buyers can streamline their ticketing purchasing and storing experience by downloading the Hometown Fan app from either the Apple or Google Play store.

Back to School Celebration
With the help of volunteers and community partners, Round Rock ISD kicked off the new school year in a big way. Nearly 8,000 community members came out for health screenings, including hearing exams and vaccinations, family fun, and even finger-nail painting from the Round Rock ISD police officers.

Westwood earns top speech and debate honors at national tournament
The success of the Westwood High School Speech and Debate team continues this school year as the team recently received first place and was awarded champion at the University of Texas at Austin tournament.

Round Rock ISD Makes College Board’s 9th Annual AP® District Honor Roll
For the second consecutive year, Round Rock ISD has been honored by the College Board with placement on the 9th Annual AP® District Honor Roll. The District is one of 373 school districts in the U.S. and Canada to earn this honor, which recognizes efforts and growth to the Advanced Placement (AP) program.
