Legislative Update: Students In Possession of Vapes Will Now Be Sent to DAEP

As part of House Bill 114, students will now be placed in the District Alternative Education Program (DAEP) if the student possesses, uses, is under the influence, sells, gives, or delivers marijuana, THC, or an e-cigarette (vape) while on campus, within 300 feet of school property, or at a school-related event.

Back to School Celebration

With the help of volunteers and community partners, Round Rock ISD kicked off the new school year in a big way. Nearly 8,000 community members came out for health screenings, including hearing exams and vaccinations, family fun, and even finger-nail painting from the Round Rock ISD police officers.
