Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation Awards $125,000 in Excellence in Education Grants

Educators from across Round Rock ISD campuses and departments were selected to receive $125,000 in Excellence in Education Grants from the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education (PIE) Foundation. The Excellence in Education Grants provides resources for educators to execute innovative ideas, programs, materials, equipment, field trips, and various other needs that enhance student learning. All Round Rock ISD students are impacted by the grants in some capacity.

Maintenance and custodial crews continue to work around the clock repairing storm damage and preparing campuses to welcome back students safely. Thanks to the dedication of these hard-working teams, we are hopeful that we will resume campus operations on Wednesday, Feb. 24. We will make a final determination tomorrow and will communicate to our staff and families as soon as possible.

Round Rock ISD is dedicated to ensuring our campuses stay clean. We have taken several new steps this year from new air filters to appointing COVID coordinators on each campus to hiring a disinfection service to clean each campus twice a year. In this video we provide a quick breakdown of just some of the new procedures we have added to keep our staff and students healthy and safe.
