24 aspiring nurses sign P-TECH letter of intent

P-TECH’s first cohort of 24 aspiring nurses took their first step towards a future in high-skill health science careers as licensed vocational nurses by signing their program letter of intent.

Marisa Ramirez named principal of Ridgeview Middle School

Marisa Ramirez has been named the new principal of Ridgeview Middle School. Ramirez has served as assistant principal at Ridgeview and C.D. Fulkes middle schools since 2013. During that time she led the campus equity task force, which led to an increase in the number of students in advanced academics.

Career Day at Ridgeview Middle School

Students participated in Career Day at Ridgeview Middle School. Over 60 presenters were on hand to show students how their profession works and to answer any questions about future career choices.

Families, students, and staff asked to complete 2022 campus survey

From Monday, Feb. 21 through Friday, Feb. 25, the primary parent/guardian on file, students, and staff will receive an email from Round Rock ISD to link to your school’s 2022 survey. The survey is mobile-friendly and short. It can take less than five minutes to complete.

Round Rock ISD Athletic Program Spotlight: Wrestling

Cedar Ridge, McNeil, Round Rock, and Westwood high schools offer wrestling for boys and girls. Interested students can join the wrestling team or enroll in a wrestling class as an elective. Students from our high schools have placed at State, and Round Rock ISD teams routinely compete in regionals, place in tournaments, and win District titles.
