Dear Round Rock ISD Community,

I want to personally thank the voters of Round Rock ISD for supporting the District’s 2018 Bond and demonstrating so overwhelmingly our community’s commitment to public education.

Round Rock ISD is growing, and those of us that live here know why. Our District is a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family, and our schools—thanks to amazing students, parents, teachers, and administrators—have earned a reputation for delivering a world-class education. We grew by more than 1,200 students this school year and are now home to more than 50,400 incredible students.

I want to thank those that volunteered to be part of our Citizens Bond Committee, led by Chair Kris Parker, for the hard work and countless hours they dedicated, working to identify and prioritize needs, always with the best interest of students at heart. The committee’s laser focus on our District’s strategic goals, providing equity across our District, enhancing safety and security, and building for the impressive growth we continue to see will reap benefits for our students for years to come.

Now, the work begins. We are excited about the projects ahead as we work to modernize, upgrade and expand our District, and we pledge to keep you informed of the work and progress along the way.

Thank you again for your investment in Round Rock ISD and all you do to continue to make us a destination district in Texas.

Respectfully,

Steve Flores, Ph.D.
Superintendent of Schools
