The students at Pearson Ranch Middle School get their hands dirty each week tending the school garden. Thanks to a partnership with Round Rock ISD Food Services, the students were able to harvest the vegetables and incorporate them into the lunch menu with fresh salads and veggie/fruit smoothies. School nurse and garden club liaison Pam Wallace says they hope to make this an on going activity.
