In January, Round Rock ISD will hold a public hearing of its annual report, a large component of which is the recently released 2016-2017 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR). The TAPR compiles a wide range of information on student performance in each Texas school and district. Performance measures include State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) results by grade, subject and student group; dropout and attendance rates; completion of advanced high school classes and graduation programs; and participation in college admissions tests.
The annual report also provides information on the District’s accreditation status, campus performance objectives, District standard financial reports, disciplinary incidents, and the performance of former students in higher education.
A public presentation of the results will be held at the Jan. 18, 2018 Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees meeting. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held in the Round Rock High School Lecture Hall located at 300 Lake Creek Drive in Round Rock.
TAPR reports and School Report Cards, for the District and each campus, are also published online on the Assessment and Accountability website.
