The Round Rock ISD Partners in Education (PIE) Foundation raised more than $137,000 during the District’s annual Employee Giving Campaign, an increase of more than $15,000 from 2015.

The annual Employee Giving Campaign invites Round Rock ISD staff to donate funds to the RRISD PIE Foundation in support of District programs, teacher grants, scholarships and the Teacher of the Year. The campaign raised $121,000 in 2015.

“I am honored to work in a district where employees generously give back to our community,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Steve Flores said. “These contributions will help teachers continue to go above and beyond in their classrooms to benefit all students in Round Rock ISD as we create the Destination District for Public Schools.”

The Round Rock ISD PIE Foundation most recently awarded more than $97,000 in Excellence in Education grants, spanning 41 campuses and departments, at the District’s virtual Kickoff event.

“The staff of Round Rock ISD continue to amaze me with their generosity and sincere passion in investing in all students of Round Rock ISD,” said Marianne Reap, PIE Foundation executive director. “How blessed we are to be in this partnership where the primary focus is the education and well-being of the children in our community.”
