Music, art, learning, laughter — it’s the recipe that makes Forest North Elementary School a unique place of learning. Forest North opened in 1977 and currently serves nearly 366 students in Pre-K through fifth grade.
“Forest North is filled with loving educators who have high expectations of every student,” Forest North Principal Amy Jacobs said. “It’s a campus of collaboration, as students, teachers, parents and community members work to build a supportive school.”
Forest North specializes in giving students programs and classes that build their self-esteem and leadership skills while connecting their learning back to their experiences. Specialty programs include Pre-K, Pre-School Programs for Children with Disabilities (PPCD), Together We Can and Functional Communication Classrooms.
Forest North is located at 13414 Broadmeade Avenue, Austin.
