Summer counselors offer graduates guidance for higher education and jobs
Throughout the summer, Round Rock ISD high schools will provide the services of a dedicated "summer melt" counselor, who will assist recent graduates in navigating their path toward higher education, the workforce, or a combination of both.

Ranger ACE Construction Camp 2022
Ranger ACE Construction Camp partners with Round Rock ISD to show middle and high school students the ins and outs of the construction business all while building a basketball court for a Round Rock ISD elementary school. This year marks the third basketball court they have built.
Students rebound from COVID learning loss: Significant growth earns District an 89 on report card
Round Rock ISD continues to post high marks on the state’s report card for public schools, with 85 percent of campuses earning an A or B. Overall the District earned a B, which carries a designation of Recognized Performance. More schools earned an A than ever before, with 27 posting the highest possible rating. Eighteen campuses earned a B.
More than 5,000 Attend the Round Rock ISD Back to School Celebration
Round Rock ISD celebrated its annual Back to School Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 6, with more than 5,000 students and families who filled the Stony Point High School campus to kick off the new school year. The event, sponsored by the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation and Texas Children’s Hospital provided students with the opportunity to receive free vaccinations, eye exams, hearing exams and entertainment throughout the day.
Dr. Mack O. Eagleton Named Principal of McNeil High School
Dr. Mack O. Eagleton, IV has been named the new principal of McNeil High School. Dr. Eagleton has served as the lead assistant principal of North Shore Senior High School in Galena Park ISD since 2016 and before then supported students as a middle school assistant principal and science teacher.
