Cedar Valley Middle School student artists earn top spots in national competition

Round Rock ISD named District of Distinction by Texas Art Education Association for Second Consecutive Year
For the second consecutive year, Round Rock ISD has been named a District of Distinction for its Visual Arts Program by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA). The honor is given to select school districts for providing a well-rounded education that advocates and integrates visual arts curriculum to inspire creativity and reach all different learners.
105 Round Rock ISD students named National Merit Scholar Semifinalists
A total of 105 Round Rock ISD students have been named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Westwood High School, with 78 semifinalists, led the District in total semifinalists.
