McNeil High School students receive recognition from NASA
A team of McNeil High School students took part in a NASA App Development Challenge where they took data points and coordinates on the moon and turned that information into something visual. The team went as far as to include a virtual reality version in their app, making them a top finalist in the challenge.

Negrete has more than 20 years of experience in education. She is bilingual Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas at El Paso, and earned her Master’s degree in administration and supervision from the University of Phoenix in Santa Teresa.
