Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation awards $165,000 in district grants

Each year, the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education (PIE) Foundation awards Excellence in Education grants to classrooms, programs, and departments across Round Rock ISD. These provide resources for educators to achieve innovative lesson ideas, update programs, use materials and equipment, go on field trips, and other needs that enhance student learning.

This is the district’s first bond in six years and would allow the district to replace instructional technology, HVAC, and other systems that are nearing the end of their useful lives.

Dr. Laura Carlin-Gonzalez named Executive Director of Teaching and Learning

Dr. Laura Carlin-Gonzalez has been named Round Rock ISD's executive director of teaching and learning, where she will provide leadership and oversight for the District’s teaching and learning programs, including curriculum and assessment, library services, professional development, and instructional technology.
