Round Rock ISD Robotics teams wrap up their competition season
McNeil and Westwood High School’s Robotics teams are celebrating the end of a successful competition season! Both teams made progress this year and earned recognition for their performance and technical skill at various tournaments.
Prekindergarten and New Student Enrollment opens July 6
New students, Kindergarten through grade 12, and qualifying students entering prekindergarten have their first opportunity to enroll online on Monday, July 6. Online enrollment includes opening a parent/guardian account, completing required student forms, and uploading qualifying documents.
Dr. Elizabeth Wilson named principal of Early College High School
Dr. Elizabeth Wilson has been named the new principal of Early College High School. Dr. Wilson most recently served Round Rock ISD as the principal of Fern Bluff Elementary School since 2007.
Round Rock ISD to continue curbside meal distribution through July 31
Round Rock ISD will continue curbside meal distribution through July 31. Curbside lunch and breakfast for the following day will continue to be served to students under the age of 18 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m on Monday through Friday. Weekend meals will also be available for students to pick up during meal distribution each Friday.

Hafner named new Director of Health Services
Brandy Hafner has been named Round Rock ISD's new Director of Health Services. She will replace Elaine Douville, who retired at the end of the 2019- 2020 school year.
Round Rock ISD remembers Raul Ruiz
Raul Ruiz, who has faithfully served this District, our students, staff and community, passed away following a tragic accident. Mr. Ruiz was a dedicated and valued member of our Round Rock ISD Maintenance and Groundskeeping team.

Angelica Negrete named Wells Branch Elementary Arts Integration Academy principal
Negrete has more than 20 years of experience in education. She is bilingual Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas at El Paso, and earned her Master’s degree in administration and supervision from the University of Phoenix in Santa Teresa.
