Our schools thrive because of the time, energy, and passion our volunteers bring to the district. We have more than 8,500 active family volunteers serving as mentors, W.A.T.C.H. Dogs, chaperones, booster club members, classroom helpers, event organizers, library aides, and more. Their commitment to our students and staff is truly magical.
Students at Voigt Elementary planted a native garden with funding help from the Partners in Education Foundation. The garden will help them learn about plant growth, pollination, insect life and serve as an outdoor classroom for years to come.
The Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation celebrated 40 years of public education service at its 24th Annual Shining Stars Gala on March 8, raising more than $468,00 to support innovative classroom projects throughout the district.

Thanks to a grant from the Partners in Education Foundation Anderson Mill Elementary was able to purchase some much needed soccer books to help support their growing soccer fans when they visit the school library.

The Round Rock ISD Deaf Education program enjoyed a trip to Safe In Austin, an animal sanctuary just outside of Austin that houses animals with special needs and disablities. The students had a blast petting the animals and learning how the adapt to their environment.
Thanks to the Partners in Education’s Excellence in Education Grant, students at Elsa England Elementary are able to build social skills while working alongside their friends through The Leopard Coffee Cart. Take a look at the magic of friendship and a good cup o’ joe.
Thanks to a grant from the Partners in Education Foundation the Adapted PE program was able to purchase six Overcomer devices. These devices can be used as a lever system for bats, hockey sticks, and other sports equipment to help special needs students with physical activities they would otherwise not be able to participate in.
Students at Success High School are learning firsthand from Aramark how to prepare food items, handle a kitchen knife, and other culinary skills to help succeed while in the kitchen.

Each year, the Round Rock ISD Partners in Education (PIE) Foundation awards Excellence in Education grants to classrooms, programs, and departments across Round Rock ISD. These provide resources for educators to achieve innovative lesson ideas, update programs, use materials and equipment, go on field trips, and other needs that enhance student learning.
Pond Springs Elementary now has 18 new drums thanks to a Partners in Education Foundation grant. That is enough for each music class student to practice simultaneously. Learn about the program and how the drums are used in class.
Girlstart is on a mission to increase the number of females entering the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. This year, two Round Rock ISD elementary schools received PIE Grants to help in those efforts.
