Round Rock ISD artists earn top state honors at fine arts competitions

Round Rock ISD student artists are earning statewide recognition for their creativity and talent, receiving top honors at the 2025 Texas Elementary Art Meet (TEAM), the 2025 State Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) and the Region 13 North Junior Visual Arts Scholastic Event (Junior VASE), all hosted by the Texas Art Education Association.

The Round Rock Public Library’s Library on the Go and Round Rock ISD’s Pop-Up Library are teaming up to bring books straight to the community! Look for them at local parks and events all summer long—offering free access to books for readers of all ages.

Safety and Security Spring 2025 Focus

The district-awarded funds were used to install window safety film at each campus, ensuring compliance with the Safety Texas Education Code TEC, §28.002, purchase police equipment and pay officer salaries, under TEC, §28.002 continue actively installing fencing around all campuses, expected to be completed before the end of the 2027-28 school year.

Round Rock ISD and CodeWizardsHQ Host Second Annual Hackathon

More than 125 middle and high school students gathered on April 29 for the second annual Round Rock ISD Hackathon, co-hosted by the district’s Enrichment Department and CodeWizardsHQ. The sold-out all-day event allowed students to tackle real-world challenges through technology and innovation.

Students were able to practice real world budgeting, saving, and spending like an in-person game of Life.
