Adjustments to Some Bus Routes Starting Oct. 31

Round Rock ISD Transportation Department was notified late this week that beginning Monday, October 31, the Williamson County Great Oaks Drive Bridge at Brushy Creek project will have a change in traffic pattern that is anticipated to last at least three to four months. We are anticipating a delay in both morning and afternoon bus arrivals for a number of campuses, particularly for Sommer Elementary School, Cedar Valley Middle School and Round Rock High School to be the most impacted.

Safety Spotlight: SMART Tag System

Round Rock ISD is committed to safety. That includes while students are on their way to and from school. The SMART Tag system records when students load and unload the bus, providing real-time information to the District transportation department and you, the parent.
