El Amistad and Carlin Family Donates Memorial Park to District

Round Rock ISD is pleased to announce that it has received a generous donation of the Carlin Memorial Park from El Amistad of Round Rock and the Carlin family in memory of David and Mary Carlin. The park is a community space to be enjoyed by students, staff, and families.

Round Rock Rotary Provides Graduation Gifts For Students In Need

The past year has been difficult for everyone, but among those most affected by the pandemic are students whose living situation is not stable. In Round Rock ISD, these students are supported by the Round Rock ISD Families in Transition (FiT) program. Students in the FiT program are classified as homeless.

The Round Rock ISD State and Federal programs department’s annual giving event looked a little different this year, but that did not stop them from spreading some holiday cheer. Executive Director Laura Segers says, “This year I think, it’s a deeper need and a need that maybe we haven’t seen in years past.”

Trellis Company donates $10,000 to meet immediate needs due to COVID-19

Trellis donated $10,000 to the District to help meet the immediate needs of students and families caused by COVID-19. The donation provided students in the Families in Transition (FiT) program with emergency kits, hygiene items, air beds, blankets, H-E-B gift cards, and school supplies.
