Seven Round Rock ISD campus locations will provide children 18 years and younger and students with disabilities up to 21 years old with healthy, no-cost breakfast and lunch through June 30.
Through funding made available by The U.S. Department of Agriculture nutrition program, the Seamless Summer Option provides nutritious meals in school cafeterias from June 5 to June 30. The program aims to bridge the gap left by the unavailability of free and reduced-price school meals during the summer months.

If your household experienced a reduction in income after June 30, 2021, or did not complete an household application during the 2020-2021 school year, now is the time to complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application to determine eligibility for the Summer Pandemic Eligibility Benefits Transfers (P-EBT) benefit.
Round Rock ISD Food Services will provide free meals, breakfast, and lunch for all students until June 2022. All students are encouraged to participate in free school meals. “As a federally funded program, Round Rock ISD Food Services receives reimbursement for each student meal served,” said Yana Koleva, director of food services. “The more students who eat meals at school, the more funding we have to invest in the quality of food, maintain local jobs, and support the Texas economy.”
Round Rock ISD Food Services resumes curbside meal service on Monday, Feb. 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m. All children under 18 years old can receive free breakfast and lunch. Breakfast includes an entree, fruit and 8-ounce milk. Lunch includes an entree, serving of fruit and vegetable, with 8-ounce milk.
All Round Rock ISD students can receive optional weekend meals on Fridays, along with their breakfast and lunch, at no charge for the duration of the school year. Weekend meals will be available on Fridays during curbside pick-up service.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 2 all Round Rock ISD students will receive breakfast and lunch at no charge for the duration of the school year. Free meals will be offered to all on-campus and virtual learning students. Additionally, any child age 18 and under may also pick up a free breakfast and lunch at any of the curbside locations during meal distribution.
Round Rock ISD will continue curbside meal distribution through July 31. Curbside lunch and breakfast for the following day will continue to be served to students under the age of 18 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m on Monday through Friday. Weekend meals will also be available for students to pick up during meal distribution each Friday.
In efforts to continue serving families as effectively and safely as possible, adjustments to Round Rock ISD Curbside Meal Distribution Program will take place after the academic school year ends on May 21. This includes extending curbside meal distribution service through June 30 and adjusting distribution locations starting on May 26 as a result of construction projects taking place at Hernandez Middle School, Caldwell Heights, Double File Trail, Anderson Mill, and Forest North elementary schools.
To reduce the number of trips for parents and guardians, the Round Rock ISD Food Services Department will be transitioning meal distribution times to once per day starting on Tuesday, March 31. Beginning Friday, April 3, students will also be able to pick up meals from any location for Saturday and Sunday during that day’s meal distribution time. Weekend meals for students will be available for pickup each Friday.
Round Rock ISD will continue to prepare and distribute breakfast and lunch for children under the age of 19 at 11 locations around the District during the Travis and Williamson counties Shelter in Place orders. Meals will be provided Monday through Friday and children must be present to receive a meal.
We have a plan in place to provide resources to students over the next two weeks while developing a strategy to support at-home learning in the event that campuses remain closed beyond Friday, April 3.
