Students put their science skills to the ultimate challenge

Two Canyon Vista Middle School students have earned national recognition at the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge, a national STEM contest for middle schoolers. Hosted by the Society for Science, the competition invites the top 10% of nationwide middle school participants from regional events.

Adapted PE purchases Overcomer devices

Thanks to a grant from the Partners in Education Foundation the Adapted PE program was able to purchase six Overcomer devices. These devices can be used as a lever system for bats, hockey sticks, and other sports equipment to help special needs students with physical activities they would otherwise not be able to participate in.

Grisham Middle School Hosts Grizzlies Giveback Non-Profit Fair

Grisham Middle School hosted its annual Grizzlies Giveback Non-Profit Fair, which fosters community engagement and encourages students to contribute to local causes as part of the school’s International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme.
