Brushy Creek Ribbon Cutting

Round Rock ISD Board Members, faculty, staff, and community members celebrated the official ribbon cutting for the new educational wing at Brushy Creek Elementary School on Tuesday, August 12, 2024. The latest addition was made possible by the voter-approved 2018 Bond and will serve third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade students with interactive learning opportunities inside and out.

Elementary Principal of the Year

The District added a category this year to the Teacher of the Year celebration…principal of the year. Jenny Strong of Brushy Creek Elementary was awarded the honor of Elementary Principal of the Year. Congratulations, Jenny!

Brushy Creek Elementary Expansion

Part of the 2018 Bond was an over $10 million expansion to Brushy Creek Elementary. This includes a brand-new building with 26 classrooms, eliminating the need for portable buildings on campus, and expanding and updating the existing gym and cafeteria.

Educational Robots invade Elementary Schools

LEGO® Robots are invading the elementary campuses at Round Rock ISD! Over 20 kits were purchased to give students hands-on experience in coding and building robotics. Watch how these students’ creations come to life!

Elementary Art Exhibition

For 27 years, the Round Rock ISD Fine Arts Department has put elementary school students’ finest artwork on public display. This year the exhibition is at the Raymond E. Hartfield Performing Art Center for all to see.

Families, students, and staff asked to complete 2022 campus survey

From Monday, Feb. 21 through Friday, Feb. 25, the primary parent/guardian on file, students, and staff will receive an email from Round Rock ISD to link to your school’s 2022 survey. The survey is mobile-friendly and short. It can take less than five minutes to complete.

Kindergarten registration for 2022-2023 begins March 7

Online registration for Round Rock ISD families to enroll kindergarteners for the 2022-2023 school year opens on Monday, March 7. Round Rock ISD has 35 top-rated elementary schools that educate, support, and serve Central Texas students in Round Rock, portions of Cedar Park, and the City of Austin.
