Three students represent Round Rock ISD in the Youth Art Month competition

Three Round Rock ISD students have been selected to showcase their artwork in the 2025 Texas Youth Art Month exhibition. This prestigious event is hosted by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) which recognizes exceptional creativity and skill in hundreds of student submissions statewide.

Safe in Austin: A Field Trip to Remember

The Round Rock ISD Deaf Education program enjoyed a trip to Safe In Austin, an animal sanctuary just outside of Austin that houses animals with special needs and disablities. The students had a blast petting the animals and learning how the adapt to their environment.

International Baccalaureate Day

IB Day is a culminating event for fifth graders in the International Baccalaureate Program, in this case at Chandler Oaks Elementary. Students showed off months of research and used skills they have acquired since their day in the program.

Four High Schools make the College Board’s AP® School Honor Roll

For the second consecutive year, Round Rock ISD has been honored by the College Board with placement on the 9th Annual AP® District Honor Roll. The District is one of 373 school districts in the U.S. and Canada to earn this honor, which recognizes efforts and growth to the Advanced Placement (AP) program.

Leopard Coffee Cart

Thanks to the Partners in Education’s Excellence in Education Grant, students at Elsa England Elementary are able to build social skills while working alongside their friends through The Leopard Coffee Cart. Take a look at the magic of friendship and a good cup o’ joe.

Students put their science skills to the ultimate challenge

Two Canyon Vista Middle School students have earned national recognition at the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge, a national STEM contest for middle schoolers. Hosted by the Society for Science, the competition invites the top 10% of nationwide middle school participants from regional events.

Adapted PE purchases Overcomer devices

Thanks to a grant from the Partners in Education Foundation the Adapted PE program was able to purchase six Overcomer devices. These devices can be used as a lever system for bats, hockey sticks, and other sports equipment to help special needs students with physical activities they would otherwise not be able to participate in.
