Bond 2024 Announcement

Voters will consider four propositions that provide upgrades and address needs throughout the district.
Round Rock ISD trustees Thursday night called for a $998 million bond election to provide upgrades and address needs throughout the district. This is the district’s first bond in six years and would allow the district to replace instructional technology, HVAC, and other systems that are nearing the end of their useful lives.

Brushy Creek Ribbon Cutting

Celebrating two teachers with over 35 years in the District

Kay Anderson and Susan Seale started their careers in the District at Westwood High School and formed a lasting friendship. Kay left the classroom and took on a counseling role at Round Rock High School while Susan continued teaching the sciences at Westwood. Susan retired in 2021 but found herself back in the classroom at Round Rock High School just a few years later. Both women say, “It seems like no time has passed, and we can pick up right where we left off, talking and visiting with each other and a lot more often now.”
