Third, fourth and fifth graders at England Elementary tried their hand at being teachers for one lesson. Students had to form a lesson plan, read a book and pick an activity for their students to do.

Students were able to practice real world budgeting, saving, and spending like an in-person game of Life.
Our latest Classroom Closeup episode is focused on Cedar Ridge High School’s Music and Media Communication class. This class teaches students how to produce, manipulate, and match sounds and music to specific themes. In the future, you may even hear some of thier work in Round Rock ISD vídeos.

The Round Rock ISD Deaf Education program enjoyed a trip to Safe In Austin, an animal sanctuary just outside of Austin that houses animals with special needs and disablities. The students had a blast petting the animals and learning how the adapt to their environment.
