Student lunch debt at the district’s Title I campuses has been reduced by half, thanks to the generosity of All for Lunch. This nonprofit is dedicated to eliminating school lunch debt and fighting childhood food insecurity.

Round Rock ISD’s 17 Title I schools serve a diverse community where many students qualify for free or reduced-price lunches. What started as a plan to cover a modest $1,000 in lunch debt quickly blossomed into an extraordinary commitment: All for Lunch wiped out the outstanding $7,852.61 owed at these schools.

Alessandra, a dedicated All for Lunch team member, communicated with school officials, sharing the heartwarming news. “We are thrilled to announce that we will be covering all balances of Title I schools,” she expressed. This generous donation addressed existing debt, and an additional $200 was set aside to cover any future balances during the waiting period for the check.

All for Lunch launched a dedicated fundraising page specifically tailored for Round Rock ISD. This innovative initiative ensured that every dollar donated would go directly to the schools, with no fees or administrative costs involved.

The impact of this donation resonated deeply within the Round Rock ISD community. Yana Koleva, the Food Services Director, expressed her gratitude in a poignant statement: “I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Alessandra and her organization All for Lunch for the generous donation. Their support will make a significant impact by covering 50% of the total lunch debt in the district. We truly appreciate your support of our community and are grateful for your contribution.”

All for Lunch has ignited a spark of change, reminding everyone that results can happen when a community comes together with compassion and purpose.

All for Lunch and its impactful donation to Round Rock ISD have become more than just an act of charity; they have become a powerful testament to the strength of community, care, and the undeniable belief that every child deserves a seat at the lunch table.

How to Donate: As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, All for Lunch is tax-deductible, and donors will receive a tax receipt upon making a contribution. To support All for Lunch and make a difference in students’ lives, visit the district’s fundraising page.
