Kyla Mills has been named the new principal of Grisham Middle School.
Mills served as the associate principal of Leander High School since 2016 and had served as the assistant principal of Grisham prior to then. During her time as the associate principal in Leander, she led the campus equity task force and developed initiatives aimed at improving inclusivity on campus. She also led continual collaboration efforts between the campus, parents, staff and community members to determine tools and areas for improvement.
“Returning to Grisham in the principal role is a dream come true,” Mills said. “I am honored and excited to partner with this learning community in building upon Grisham’s tradition of excellence and innovation, supporting students and staff in nurturing curiosity and taking risks to achieve high levels of learning success.”
