Erin Campbell has been named the new principal of Westwood High School.
Campbell has served as the associate principal of Westwood since 2019 and before then was an assistant principal at the campus. She also served as an assistant principal at Anderson High School in Austin ISD. During her time as the Westwood associate principal, she led the campus equity task force and developed professional development related to restorative practices and priority standards. She also served as the campus’ coordinator for AP Academics, the largest in the District with over 3,500 AP tests administered annually. She has 17 years of experience in education.
“I am looking forward to serving our amazing staff, students, and families in my new role as principal,” said Campbell. “As a proud alumnus of Westwood High School, it is an honor to lead our school on the path of continued excellence.”
