Dr. Elizabeth Wilson has been named the new principal of Early College High School.

Dr. Wilson most recently served Round Rock ISD as the principal of Fern Bluff Elementary School since 2007. Prior to her principal role, she served as an assistant principal, elementary program supervisor, curriculum specialist and teacher in Austin ISD. She has 23 years of experience in education.

“It is an honor to be selected as the new principal for Early College High School,” Dr. Wilson said. “Everything that Early College High School has accomplished since its inception, especially graduation of the legacy Class of 2020, is truly inspiring. I’m excited about being able to work with the students, teachers, parents and school community; to enhance relationships, campus culture and innovation at Early College High School. Working together, I look forward to providing every student the social, emotional and academic support needed to be successful at both the high school and college level.”

Dr. Wilson earned her Doctorate in Philosophy in Education, Master’s in Education and Superintendent’s Certification from Texas State University and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Xavier University in Louisiana.

“Dr. Wilson’s mission is clear and that mission is to advocate for success for all through designing and implementing campus goals to support the needs of students, campus staff and the community,” Superintendent Steve Flores, Ph.D. said. “Early College High School will continue to serve as a point of pride for Round Rock ISD under her leadership and I’m confident that she will work with the entire community to continue their successes.”
