Old Town Elementary School updated its school logo in an effort to update the traditional logo with a modern twist.

The new logo features red, white and black and showcases the state of Texas and a star. Both the color scheme and imagery match the campus’ personality and culture of the Old Town Texans.

“Old Town’s campus leadership team collaboratively developed two unique designs based on our school colors and mascot,” Old Town Principal Leah Ionnotti said. “The designs were shared with our community and a survey was administered to determine our new logo. We are excited to have a new logo that was selected by our community members.”

The logo was designed by Zac Colquitt, community relations graphic coordinator, with the collaboration of Old Town students, parents and staff. The logo was ultimately chosen through an online voting process, which the community was able to participate in.

Old Town is located off of FM 3406 and has over 600 enrolled students. The campus offers a wide variety of student programs and services, including campus wide Dual Language curriculum.
