Community members from Round Rock and Austin participated in Superintendent Snapshot on Nov. 2.
All participants visited one four Round Rock ISD campuses, including two elementary, one middle and one high school during the half-day event. A total of 20 schools showcased the world class learning happening in Round Rock ISD every day.
The tours offered community members the opportunity to see International Baccalaureate schools at all levels, Project Based Learning, Next Generation Digital Classrooms, dual language classrooms and high school academies. Some community members were also able to get an inside look at the District’s newest campus programs at Berkman Arts Integration Academy and Joe Lee Johnson STEAM Academy.
The goal of Superintendent Snapshot is to provide community stakeholders an in-depth look at Round Rock ISD schools and various programs being offered by the District. Ultimately, Round Rock ISD aims to provide value for students, to develop strategic partnerships that impact several schools through program alignment and to create the Destination District for Public Schools.
