Round Rock ISD student artists are earning statewide recognition for their creativity and talent, receiving top honors at the 2025 Texas Elementary Art Meet (TEAM), the 2025 State Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) and the Region 13 North Junior Visual Arts Scholastic Event (Junior VASE), all hosted by the Texas Art Education Association.
At the TEAM event, held April 12, 32 elementary students were awarded Top of TEAM medals, placing them among the best in Texas. Their winning entries were selected from 364 artworks submitted by the district to the Region 13 North Visual Arts Scholastic Event, where 308 received the highest regional rating of 3.

At the State Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE), held April 26, 32 high school student artworks were submitted for adjudication. Of these, 19 entries received a rating of 4, the highest non–Gold Seal rating awarded at the state level.

In addition, three Round Rock ISD students earned the prestigious Gold Seal Award, the highest honor at State VASE. Their artwork will be exhibited at venues across Texas and showcased at the Texas Art Education Association Fall Conference:

- Rosalie B., My Sister, Amelie – McNeil High School
Round Rock ISD artists also excelled at the Region 13 North Junior Visual Arts Scholastic Event (Junior VASE), where 14,330 works were adjudicated statewide at the regional level during the 2025 season. Only 1,047 entries across Texas earned a Platinum medal, the event’s highest distinction. Round Rock ISD submitted 285 entries, 202 receiving the highest rating of 4, and 17 works advancing to Platinum.
