The Round Rock ISD School Health Advisory Council is looking for new members to serve in an advisory role to the Board of Trustees.
The SHAC advises the Board of Trustees on coordinated school health matters. By involving diverse community stakeholders, especially district parents, the council ensures that school health policies and education align with the community’s values and needs.
SHAC by-law eligibility requirements:
- A person must live within the Round Rock ISD community, work for Round Rock ISD, or have children who attend Round Rock ISD schools.
- Members must have a strong commitment to the health and well-being of children and a strong desire to attend and participate in the meetings.
- Membership of the SHAC shall strive to reflect the geographic, ethnic, gender and economic diversity of the district.
