Superintendent Reports:

F1. LSG Monitoring Report Goal 3: College, Career, and Military Readiness-CCMR (Student Outcomes)

The District will increase the percentage of graduates who are College, Career, and Military ready, as reported in the Texas accountability system, from 83% to 94% by August 2026 (for the Class of 2025). 2025 (end of year) target is 92%.

  • Goal Progress Measures 3.1: Increase the percentage of high school graduates who meet college readiness by earning college credit from 49% to 56%. 2025 (end of year) target is 53%
  • Goal Progress Measures 3.2: Increase the percentage of seniors testing as college-ready in reading and math from 70% to 80% by 2026. 2025 (end of year) target is 76%.
  • Goal Progress Measure 3.3: Increase the percentage of high school graduates who meet career readiness from 14% to 20% by 2026. 2025 (end of year) target is 18%.

F2. Closing the Gaps Improvement Identification Data (Student Outcomes)

  • For the third year in a row, Round Rock ISD has reduced the number of campuses identified as needing Comprehensive, Targeted, or Additional support based on federal guidelines. Round Rock ISD had 15 campuses receiving support in 2019 and four in 2024.
  • This domain addresses educational gaps between various student demographic groups. 
  • The Texas Education Agency determines which schools need targeted support based on whether they have one consistently underperforming student group.

F3. 2024-2025 Budget Update:

  • Current revenues – $458,987,000
  • Current expenditures – $460,083,000
  • Current budget shortfall – $1,096,000
  • Projected revenue from the sale of Cypress property – $9,300,000
  • The district could consider potential cost-saving measures, such as freezing hiring for non-mission-critical positions over time and evaluating operating expenses to maximize Bond and grant dollars.
