The 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program named 91 Round Rock ISD students semi-finalists.

Of the 1,719 chosen from Texas, 52 are from Westwood High School, which is the largest amount of students from any high school in the state.

Each year, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation selects the highest-achieving students for its program. Approximately 16,000 students across the nation were selected as semi-finalists. In the spring, nearly $26 million will be awarded to students based on their abilities, skills, and accomplishments.
