Three Round Rock ISD students at Westwood High School demonstrated content and skill mastery by scoring perfectly on their respective college admission standardized tests.
It’s important to note that most colleges and universities accept scores from either the SAT or ACT, two of the most widely recognized and respected standardized tests.
The ACT is a curriculum-based achievement exam that measures what students have learned in school. Students who earn a 36 composite score have likely mastered all the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in first-year college courses in the core subject areas.
Students who earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT in June are:
Ethan Ho, a senior at Westwood High School
Krish Arora, a senior at Westwood High School
Tanvi Kadiri, a junior at Westwood High School
Students who earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT in July are:
Nishka Jhavar, a senior at Westwood High School
Sahiti Oruganti, a senior at Westwood High School
Uma Sthanu, a junior at Westwood High School
The SAT also measures a high school student’s readiness for college and provides colleges with one common data point that are used to compare all applicants.
One Round Rock ISD student who earned a perfect SAT score of 1600 is:
Sanjana Iyer, a junior at Westwood High School
Congratulations to these outstanding students!
