Blanca Valencia is the new principal of Success High School.

Principal Valencia, a passionate educator, embarked on her career as a data specialist in higher education. She then transitioned into a social studies teacher role at Manor Excel Academy, where she spent five years implementing processes that significantly improved student outcomes. Her unwavering commitment to student success continued at Austin ISD, where she specialized in leading educators to enhance outcomes through restructuring processes, roles, and functions at Garza Independence High School. In her previous role at Round Rock ISD as the Assistant Principal at Round Rock Opportunity Center.

Valencia further strengthened student support services, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to student success.

Valencia brings over 20 years of extensive experience in education. She is bilingual in Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Arts and History degree from the University of Texas at Austin; She earned her Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum, and Instruction from the University of Texas in Austin.

Her first day with Success High School will be Monday, July 8, 2024.
