Round Rock ISD’s New Teacher November is a month-long celebration and recognition of new educators in their first or second year as early career educators. The District welcomed over 400 new teachers this school year.
This special month marks our appreciation for the dedication and enthusiasm new teachers bring to the field and foster a sense of belonging and support within the teaching community.
Round Rock ISD provides a network of support to early career educators focused on their growth, retention, and overall success in the field of education. These support strategies include one-on-one coaching with an experienced teacher mentor, known as a Teacher Coach, facilitating virtual and in-person professional learning opportunities, and building a sustainable nurturing community of encouraging stakeholders.
A Round Rock ISD Partners in Education Foundation grant, community, and District partnerships partly support the early career educator program.
