The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) recognizes Molly Kentopp, school counselor at Spicewood Elementary IB® World School, and Arti Pant, Laura Reilly, and Naomi Galvan, school counselors at Canyon Vista Middle School, as national Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) award winners.

Kentopp, Pant, Reilly, and Galvan qualified for the national level after receiving a gold Lone Star Award from the Lone Star State School Counselor Association (LSSSCA). These award-winning school counselors earned LSSSCA’s Lone Star bronze, silver, and gold awards previously.

Round Rock ISD’s Canyon Vista Middle School and Spicewood Elementary IB® World School are two of only six Texas schools that qualified for the 2023 RAMP award. And only 16 Texas schools have earned this level of achievement to date.

The RAMP designation, awarded for aligning with the criteria in the ASCA National Model, recognizes schools committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-informed school counseling program and an exemplary educational environment.
