Teravista Elementary Leadership Academy earns a spot as a 2023 Leader in Me Lighthouse Academic Honor Roll School by Franklin Covey®.
Teravista Elementary qualified for the Exemplary Academic Proficiency by ranking above the 85th percentile in testing and meeting the rigorous requirements to achieve and maintain Lighthouse School Certification. The percentile ranking for Teravista rose in 2023 to 89% in the state, up from 84% in 2022.
Percentiles are based on data provided by the Department of Education of each state and compiled by Schooldigger.com, an independent non-profit whose goal is to empower families with reliable data about their children’s school performance.
Teravista became a Leader in Me Lighthouse school in 2014. and as a FranklinCovey Education Leader in Me® Legacy Lighthouse School in April 2023. This prestigious designation is the highest honor granted to Leader in Me schools. Teravista is the first school in Texas and the sixth school in the world to earn the status of a Leader in Me Legacy School.
The Lighthouse Academic Honor Roll is awarded annually to the Lighthouse schools with excellent academic performance. Schools earn this recognition for Exemplary Academic Proficiency and/or Academic Growth within a school year. To be recognized, schools must meet the rigorous requirements to achieve and maintain Lighthouse School Certification and show exemplary academic growth or proficiency as measured by state accountability standards.
