Enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year is open to Pre-K through grade 12 students residing outside the District’s boundaries at select Round Rock ISD schools. Open enrollment for out-of-district students is open from Monday, April 17, through Friday, May 19.
Out-of-District applicants will submit their current student attendance, discipline, and grade records for evaluation. Applicant requests will only be approved if staffing and space accommodate an increased student population. District transportation is not available to out-of-district students.
Round Rock ISD’s first school day for the 2023-2024 school year is Tuesday, Aug. 15. Programming varies by campus and can include advanced academics, IB® International Baccalaureate programmes, leadership academies, career and technical education, arts integration, dual language, school day enrichment, STEAM, UIL athletics, a distinguished fine arts program, and special education services. After-school care is available at our elementary schools through a partnership with the YMCA.
Round Rock ISD boundaries include portions of south Williamson County and northwest Travis County.
