Round Rock ISD’s Council of PTA’s nominating committee invites and encourages nominations of PTA members from Round Rock ISD schools to serve on the 2023-2024 Round Rock ISD’s Council of PTAs.
All current PTA members are eligible for nomination. Candidates may either self-nominate or be nominated by another individual. All nominations are due by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Submit nominations to serve as the Council of PTA’s 2023-2024:
- president
- first vice president of membership
- second vice president of training
- third vice president of communications
- fourth vice president of hospitality
- fifth vice president of program support
- sixth vice president of fundraising support
- secretary or treasurer.
Suggested qualifications of nominees:
- Have knowledge about and adhere to the PTA’s vision, mission, purposes, and basic policies
- Be willing to attend continuing training for PTA
- Demonstrate prior experience in either PTA or other organizational work
- Is ethical and has a sense of justice and fairness
- Exhibits enthusiasm for PTA
- Be willing to make PTA a high priority in their schedule

The Round Rock ISD Council of PTAs is a volunteer-run support organization responsible for operating and managing District-wide programs, including the District’s two Clothes Closets, all participating schools’ Reflections voting and awards, and District-wide staff and family advocacy, literacy, and safety programs.
Only persons who are members of a local PTA shall be eligible to serve as an officer. Consent to serve will be obtained by the nominating committee. No person shall serve more than two consecutive terms in the same position.
