Round Rock ISD kindergarten registration for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year opens on Tuesday, March 7.
When online enrollment opens, parents/guardians of new kindergarten students, who turn 5 by or on Sept. 1, 2023, will need to create a new student profile and upload required registration documents. Families who may need help to complete enrollment electronically can contact the school’s office to schedule an appointment to drop off documents.

Registration documents
- Proof of residence within the District (contract on the house, lease agreement, actual title to the house, current Round Rock ISD tax statement, or current utility bill indicating the address and the adult’s name),
- child’s official birth certificate,
- child’s immunization record, and
- child’s social security card (preferred but will not prevent enrollment).
Schools will invite new kindergarteners and families to a welcome meeting in late March or April.

Round Rock ISD Pre-K parents require no action to register their students for kindergarten; the District automatically transitions students from Pre-K to kindergarten. Current Round Rock ISD Prekindergarten students will promote to kindergarten at their home campus.
