On June 16, 2021, the Texas governor signed into law a bill passed in the 87th Texas Legislature that requires a public elementary or secondary school to display in a conspicuous place in each building of the school a durable poster or framed copy of the United States national motto, “In God We Trust,” if the poster or framed copy is donated for display at the school.
Round Rock Independent School District is the recipient of such donations and is in compliance with the law.
The local chapter of Moms for Liberty is donating framed posters to Round Rock ISD for each of the district’s 56 campuses.
